Adaptor for AXIS T8640 PoE + Ethernet over Coax is the ideal choice for the installation of IP cameras where coaxial cables are already present, and can be very long or inaccessible. The adapter for AXIS PoE + T8640 Ethernet over Coax, enables IP communication through existing coaxial wiring video, and converts an analog system to a digital system. AXIS T8640 comprises a base unit for PoE AXIS T8641 + Ethernet over Coax and a unit for PoE + device for Ethernet over Coax AXIS T8642. It can also be used in installations requiring PoE transmission over 100 m. IP connection at full power, is carried on cable up to 500 m distances that are most recommended for analog video installation. Optional power supply can be used if PoE is not available, or if the IP camera requires a larger power supply. Please refer to the Setup tab or the Scope tab for more information. For easy installation and guaranteed results, AXIS T8640 has an intuitive LED display, which confirms the power and the network via cable, without the need of remote access to equipment to check the connections.
